Robert Kubica has made public plans for the Polish driver to be involved in the pre-season test at Jerez, Spain.
After a difficult return to Formula One – being out-qualified 21-0 by teammate George Russell – it was clear Kubica would be moving on as the season drew to a close.
At the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix it was announced that F2 Runner-up Nicholas Latifi would be taking the Poles seat at Williams.
Kubica has had strong ties to BMW throughout his racing career. Most notably driving for the German marque in F1 between 2006-2009, where he secured his only ever victory at the 2008 Canadian Grand Prix.

It’s clear that Kubica won’t be letting go of racing, seeing himself capable of taking on the next challenge. You can never quell a true racer.
