Red Bull’s Max Verstappen has been the man to beat in Mexico City, and over the last two years he has proven his speed at the Autódromo Hermanos Rodríguez.

After taking his third ever F1 win at the circuit in 2017, Verstappen jumped pole-sitting teammate Daniel Ricciardo in 2018 and stormed to win number five.
The Dutchman looked set to take his second pole in F1, and set himself up to score that hat-trick. However, Verstappen set his fastest time passing through the yellow flag zone for the decimated Mercedes of Valterri Bottas.
The FIA have handed him a three place grid penalty, but will that stop Max?
